While we can all agree that racism is wrong, it is important to recognize the systems in which we live and work, that perpetuate the ideals of racism.
My Courageous Conversations training helps employers and employees explore the blind spots, biases and privilege that we ALL carry, how they impact our professional lives and how we can work towards a more equitable and inclusive workplace.

CREATE MORE SPACE FOR TALK THERAPY
Group therapy is just as effective as private therapy and creates space for people to express themselves in front of others without feeling judged. My workshops provide talk therapy for people who may not otherwise have access to social workers and psychotherapy services.

STRESS & MENTAL HEALTH EDUCATION
Circumstantial feelings of fear, anxiety and stress among people within public and private organizations are best managed through consultation with a qualified mental health professional. My Mental Health Education workshop helps managers within private companies learn how to support the mental health of their team members, and leaders within public organizations provide mental health education to the community at large.

Support Positive Identity Formation for Black Students
A specialized workshop that explores the concept of identity within the context of self-esteem for Black students in Canada. I facilitate this workshop to help educators learn how identity is formed, what contributes to a positive Black identity, and the benefits of an African Positive Identity for Black students.
ANTI-BLACK RACISM WORKSHOP FOR EDUCATORS
BY THE END OF THIS WORKSHOP, EDUCATORS WILL:
Have an enhanced understanding of factors that influence identity formation
Be able to support the positive identity formation of Black students
Better understand how Anti-Black Racism impacts and infiltrates our work with youth

MENTAL HEALTH EDUCATION WORKSHOP FOR LEADERS
BY THE END OF THIS WORKSHOP, ATTENDEES WILL:
Be able to identify and evaluate coping mechanisms in themselves and others
Have new stress management techniques to combat the sources of stress
Understand how to approach people in distress and support them with empathy
Advocate For Mental Health In The Workplace
A flexible workshop that defines and explores mental health and mental distress, as well as stigma, discrimination, and assumptions. I facilitate this workshop to give business managers and community leaders better communication tools and resources for helping others at work or in the community.
